Shattered glass littered the old polished wooden floor. Furniture was upside down or broken into pieces against the walls and floors. The small flames from the candles gave them enough light to see around the trashed rooms. The light danced against the walls as Bill walked silently through the top part of the house.
"What happened?" Bill whispered as he pushed opened his bedroom door. The room was a mess, files, books, music, movies, pictures lay everywhere around the floor. Broken glass crackled as he walked through the room, everywhere
